An Act  authorizing the use of cameras and listening devices in day care centers..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section l0B of chapter 28A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:- 

All day care centers shall have cameras and listening devices installed in every room of the center, with the exception of restrooms. Those who fail to do so shall be fined not less than $l0,000.  Private household day care centers consisting of 4 children or less shall be exempt from this paragraph.
