An Act improving the administration and management of the judicial system of the Commonwealth..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 11 of Chapter 185C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out section 11, as so appearing, and inserting in place thereof the following section:—

   Section 11. The clerk of a division of the housing court department may subject to the approval of the Chief Justice for administration and management as to compliance with personnel standards promulgated pursuant to section eight of chapter two hundred and eleven B, appoint one or more assistant clerks for whose official acts the clerk shall be responsible, whose salaries shall be paid by the commonwealth.
