SECTION 1. Chapter 149 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 115 the following section:—
Section 115A. The division of occupational safety shall conduct a study analyzing the direct and indirect costs of workplace psychological harassment for workers and their families as reflected in healthcare and insurance rates. The division shall develop a program requiring employers with 50 or more employees to establish, no later than December 31, 2011, a policy that defines psychological harassment and prevents its occurrence.
