An Act establishing the miracle league of Massachusetts..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. . Chapter 6 of the general laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after section 186, the following section:-

Section 186A. The office shall establish a program entitled the “Miracle League of Massachusetts”. The program shall create no less than 5 “Miracle League” fields by January 1, 2012. The fields shall be geographically distribute with at least 1 field in western Massachusetts, 1 in central Massachusetts and 1 in eastern Massachusetts and the remaining to be determined by the advisory council. Funds for the implementation and maintenance of this program shall come from those authorized pursuant to section

2 PPP of chapter 29.

Section 2. Section 2 of chapter 29 of the general laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-

Section 29:2 PPPThere shall be established and set up on the books of the commonwealth a separate fund known as the Miracle League Fund, the funds of which shall be expended for the purpose providing recreational resources and assisting people with disabilities. There shall be credited to the fund all revenues or other financing sources directed to the fund by appropriation but no less than $500,000 annually through fiscal year 2015.
