An Act relative to snow and ice removal on public ways..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 5 of chapter 85 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the second sentence and inserting in place thereof the following:-“Said ordinance and by-laws shall determine the time and manner of removal and shall affix penalties of $100 payable within 21 days.  After notice of removal, each day snow and ice is not removed shall be a separate offense.”
