An Act relative to the testing of infants for crabbe disease..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any rule, regulation or general law to the contrary, the Department of Public Health shall include testing for Crabbe Disease in said regulations of their Department pertaining to testing of infants at any Massachusetts hospital of birthing center.  Said testing shall be within 72 hours of birth, and the testing authority shall notify the attending physician by first class mail, electronic mail and telephone of all results within 48 hours of testing.
