An Act Relative to Protecting Children from Hazardous Substances ..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of public health shall, on or before January 1, 2010, establish regulations categorizing the chemical bisphenol A as a hazardous substance when it is contained in toys or child care items manufactured, sold, or distributed in the Commonwealth.
