An Act relative to retired capitol police officers disabled in the performance of duty..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, Albert Delorey of Lady Lake, Florida, Kenneth Dorrance of Pelham, New Hampshire, Francis W. Holland of the town of Stoneham and Thomas H. Keough of Englewood, Florida, formerly Capitol Police officers, each of whom has been retired under the provisions of this chapter or similar provisions of earlier law on account of injuries sustained or of hazard undergone in the performance of his duty shall have his retirement allowance increased to an amount not exceeding one-half the rate of regular compensation payable to state police officers holding similar positions, at the time of increasing such allowance, in the comparable grade or classification, as determined by the personnel administrator, occupied by such former officer at the time of his retirement.
