An Act providing for retirement credit for certain service ..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

   Section 1 of chapter 32 of the general laws is hereby amended as follows:

   Amend the definition of “creditable service” by adding after the word “inclusive” the words “…including without being limited to service rendered to a government unit by a consultant or so called 03 employee where such service has been rendered under the direction and control of a governmental unit.”

   Amend lines 27 and 28 of the definition of “employee” by deleting the words “…and excluding any person whose compensation for service rendered to the commonwealth is derived from the subsidiary account 03 of the appropriation of any department, agency, board or commission of the commonwealth;”
