An Act pertaining to the appointment of Firefighters..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any General or Special Law or Ordinance to the contrary disabled veterans shall be hired in accordance with Chapter 31 Section 26 regardless of any residency provision.
