An Act relative to forest lands under Chapter 61..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 61 of the General Laws, 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking lines 8 through 10, in their entirety, and inserting in place thereof the following:

“There shall be no rate of tax applicable to certified forest land.”

SECTION 2. Section 2A of said Chapter 61 is hereby amended by striking that language following the word “section,” in line 1 and inserting in place thereof the following:

“there shall be no rate of tax applicable to certified forest land.”

SECTION 3. Section 6 of said Chapter 61 is hereby repealed.

SECTION 4. Section 8 of said Chapter 61 is hereby amended by striking the paragraphs in lines 63 through 164, in its entirety.
