An Act Relative to Handicapped Parking..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Section 2 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 291 the words “of $500 for a first offense and $1,000 for a second or subsequent offense” and inserting in place thereof the followings words:-   of $1,000 for a first offense and $2,500 for a second or subsequent offense .

SECTION 2.  Said section 2 of said chapter 90 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 295 to 297, the words “for a period of 30 days for a first offense, for a period of 90 days for a second offense and for a period of one year for a third or subsequent offense” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-  for a period of 1 year for a first offense, 3 years for a second offense and 5 years for a third or subsequent offense .
