An Act relative to Junior Operators Licenses..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  The 7th paragraph of section 8 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the 2nd sentence and inserting in place thereof the following:-

The holder of a junior operator’s license who is stopped by a police officer for a violation of sections 17, 17A or 18 and it is such operator’s first offense shall be given a warning and informed by the police officer that a subsequent offense will result in the suspension of the license.
