In the Year Two Thousand Nine

An Act providing for a study by the executive offices of health and human services and the department of public safety..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  The executive office of health and human services and the department of public safety shall jointly conduct a statewide analysis of human service programs overseen by these agencies to determine the density and fiscal impact on cities and towns in which they perform.  They shall submit a report to the general court by filing the same  with the clerk of the house of representatives on or before December 31, 2009.
