An Act to protect trees in public parks..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows;

Chapter 266: Section 98A is amended by substituting the following;

Section98A.  Whoever willfully, intentionally and without right, or wantonly and without cause destroys, defaces, mars or injures any playground apparatus, equipment, trees or native flora, located in a  public park or playground shall be punished by a fine or not more than two thousand dollars.
