An Act relative to community preservation expenditures..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of chapter 44 B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out in lines 3 to 7 inclusive the words “10 percent of the annual revenues in the Community Preservation Fund for open space, but not including land for recreational use, not less than 10 percent of the annual revenues for historical resources and not less than 10 percent of the annual revenues for community” and inserting in place thereof the following:- 2 percent of the annual revenues in the Community Preservation Fund for open space, but not including for recreational, not less than 2 percent of the annual revenues for historic resources and not less than 2 percent of the annual revenues for community housing. The remaining percentage may be used for general governmental purposes excluding school purposes.
