An Act relative to penalties for defacement of public property.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 126 of chapter 266 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 9 by striking out the words, “ten nor more than one hundred dollars” and inserting in place thereof the words:--

“fifty nor more than fifteen hundred dollars or by imprisonment in a house of correction for not more than two years or combination thereof.”
