An Act to provide an appropriate bargaining unit for correction program offices, youth services program officers, and transitional parole officers.  ..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 150E of the general laws is hereby amended by adding a fifth paragraph as follows:

The appropriate bargaining unit for employees of the executive branch in the titles of Correction Program Officer, Youth Services Program Officer and Transitional Parole Officer shall be a unit which includes all persons in said titles and any successors to said titles.

SECTION 2.

In establishing the above described unit, employees in the affected titles shall retain their current contract and their current collective bargaining representative.
