An Act relative to estimated gas and electric bills..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 10 of chapter 164 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

No later than July 1, 2009, each distribution, electric and gas company, as defined in section 1 of chapter 164 shall not send estimated bills to their customers which are more than 75 per cent higher than the highest actual bill for the previous consecutive 6 months.
