An Act relative to disability retirement..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Subsection (1) of section 7 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

No physical, mental or emotional disability arising principally out of a bona fide personnel action including transfer, promotion, demotion, termination or disciplinary action not involving the preceding, except such an action which is the intentional infliction of emotional harm, shall be deemed to be a personal injury sustained or a hazard undergone as a result of, and while in the performance of, his duties within the meaning of the section.
