An Act Relative to a Public Hearing in the Town of Southbridge..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the registry of motor vehicles shall hold a public hearing in the Town of Southbridge. The registry shall notify the Town of Southbridge no less than 30 days prior to said public hearing by certified mail by return receipt requested. The registry shall advertise in the Southbridge Evening News and the Worcester Telegram and Gazette the time and the location of such public hearings no less than 4 weeks prior to said public hearing.  Notification of said public hearing shall appear in said local newspaper no less than 1 time each week for such 4 week time period.
