An Act PROVIDING FOR A BALLOT QUESTION IN THE TOWN OF ARLINGTON AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF 3 LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES NOT TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding section 11 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the board of selectmen of the town of Arlington may cause to be placed on the ballot at the 2010 town election the following question:
“Shall the board of selectmen be authorized to grant up to 3 licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages not to be drunk on the premises in replacement of up to 3 existing licenses for the sale of wines and malt beverages not to be drunk on the premises?
