An Act RELATIVE TO THE SEWER SERVICE AREA FOR THE TOWN OF LUNENBURG..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding chapter 83 of the General Laws, or any other law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the sewer commission of the town of Lunenburg may allow, at its discretion, owners of parcels of land or portions of parcels of land not presently served by sewer and located within sewer service areas established by the Town by bylaw in order to preserve and manage limited treatment capacity pursuant to inter-municipal agreements,  to extend the existing sewer system to serve such parcels or to connect to common sewers located within such sewer service areas subject to available capacity and only if they are otherwise in compliance with the law and with the conditions of all permits.

Notwithstanding said chapter 83, the sewer commission may also allow for increased allocation for the change of use, or expansion of use which results in an increased sewage design flow, in existing facilities within such sewer service areas subject to available capacity and subject to the assessment of privilege fees.
