An Act Relative to Equity in Education Funding..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 3 of chapter 70 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:

Any municipality with a combined effort yield less than 100 percent of the Fiscal Year 2010 Foundation Budget and each ensuing year, shall have in Fiscal Year 2010 and in each ensuing year a target maximum local contribution of no more than 80 percent of its Foundation Budget.
