An Act AMENDING CHAPTER 149: SECTION 27B. RECORDS OF EMPLOYEES; PAYROLL RECORDS; STATEMENTS OF COMPLIANCE..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 27B of G.L.C 149 is hereby amended by inserting after the words, “public works” appearing in the first sentence, the following: “Project by an Agency, Executive Office, Department, Board, Commission, Bureau, Division or Authority of the Commonwealth or County, or municipality or any subdivision thereof;”

Section 27B is further amended by inserting after the word “shall” as appearing in line 5 of said first sentence, the language, “submit weekly to the Contracting Agency by mail, first class postage pre-paid, and by electronic mail, certified payroll records that shall consist of a complete copy of such records accompanied by a statement signed by the Employer that indicates (a) such records are correct; and (b) the rate of wages paid to each performing the work of mechanic, apprentice, Teamsters, chauffeurs, and Laborers,….”
