An Act relative to cosmetologists..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

 SECTION 1. Section 87II of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the following words at the end of the first paragraph; “not more than one hundred dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words; “$100 and not to exceed $500 for a first violation; not less than $500 and not to exceed $1,000 for a second violation; not less than $2,500 and not to exceed $5,000 for a third violation; or not to exceed $10,000 for a fourth or subsequent violation.”
