An Act Relative to the Certification of Hull Public Library..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, (1) the town of Hull Public Library shall be deemed to be certified as of July 1, 2010 as meeting its minimum appropriation requirement and all other criteria for certification under chapter 78 of the General Laws and any applicable laws, rules or regulations; (2) the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners shall so certify by July 1, 2010 or at its first meeting on or after July 1, 2010; (3) the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners shall further certify by July 1, 2010 or at its first meeting on or after July 1, 2010 said library as being eligible for the state aid to public libraries program for fiscal year 2011 under section 19A of chapter 79 of the General Laws and any applicable laws, rules or regulations; and (4) said library and all Hull Library card holders shall receive and be entitled to all other benefits and attributes of said certifications.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
