SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Shirley, acting by and through its conservation commission, may lease a portion of the Dow Parcel conservation land, shown on Shirley assessors’ map 95, block A, parcel 7.14, for agricultural purposes for not more than 10 years. The lease shall be subject to subsections (a), (b) and (g) of section 16 of chapter 30B of the General Laws and shall be on such terms and conditions as the conservation commission may determine. No lease agreement shall be valid unless it provides that the leased portion of the Dow Parcel shall be used solely for agricultural purposes.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
