An Act relative to real estate tax abatements..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Clause twenty-second D of section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 741 to 743 inclusive, the words “ ; provided, however, that in no case shall the abatement amount exceed the sum of $2,500 in any fiscal year following the fifth fiscal year of receipt of the abatement ”
