An Act Validating the Actions Taken at a Certain Town Election in the Town of Hopkinton.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all acts and proceedings taken by the town of Hopkinton at the town election held on May 17, 2010, and all actions taken pursuant thereto are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed, notwithstanding any defect or omission in the warrant or ballot for said election relative to the ballot question to exempt from provisions of proposition two and one-half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to pay for the design of traffic, roadway and streetscape enhancements in the downtown area of the Town.

SECTION 2.This act shall take effect upon its passage
