An Act relative to the certification of Hull Public Library..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the board of library commissioners shall grant temporary certification to the town of Hull upon receipt of a preliminary report showing compliance with the minimum hours of service requirement and the materials expenditure requirement set forth in section 19B of chapter 78 of the General Laws during fiscal year 2010 and showing that the library has met the municipal appropriation requirement, or is likely to qualify for a waiver of said requirement, in the 2011 state aid to public libraries program; provided, further that the board of library commissioners shall take this action at its next meeting following receipt of this preliminary report; provided, further that such temporary certification shall mean that the Hull public library and all Hull library card holders shall receive and be entitled to all other benefits of the certification; and provided, further that the town of Hull shall apply for full certification by submitting such reports and applications as are required of all municipalities.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
