In the Year Two Thousand Ten

An Act Directing the Secretary of the Commonwealth to Place a Certain Nonbinding Question on the Biennial State Election Ballot in the City of New Bedford..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  The secretary of the commonwealth shall cause the following nonbinding question to be placed on the official ballot in the city of New Bedford at the biennial state election to be held in the year 2010:  “Do you approve of the development and operation of a gaming casino in the City of New Bedford?”.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
