An Act DECLARING SEPTEMBER CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15NNNNN the following section:-

Section 15OOOOO: The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the month of September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  The proclamation shall recommend that it be observed by the people as a period of special attention to the importance of continued research into, and effective therapy for, this tragic disease.
