An Act RELATIVE TO THE QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CHIEF MEDICAL EXAMINER.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 2 of chapter 38 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words “in Forensic Pathology” in line 6, and inserting in place thereof, the following words:- with certification in anatomic pathology and subspecialty certification in forensic pathology

SECTION 2.  Section 2 of chapter 38, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out the words “a diplomate of the American Board of Anatomic and Forensic Pathology” in lines 7 and 8.
