An Act relative to children in need..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The fourth paragraph of section 1 of chapter 119 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-

The services of the department shall be available to families where a child is in custody through Child in Need of Services.

SECTION 2.  Subsection A of section 23 of chapter 119 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- The court may appoint a guardian ad litem for education for a child.
