Resolved, That a special commission to consist of 3 members of the house of representatives to be appointed by the speaker, and 3 members of the senate to be appointed by the president, to make an investigation and study relative to possession of marijuana, which was passed by the people as chapter 387 of the acts of 2008, and how this possession of marijuana would affects public and private tenement housing, pursuant to sections 19 and 20 of chapter 139 of the General Laws. Said commission shall report the results of its investigation and study, and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the clerk of the house of representatives on or before the last Wednesday of January, 2010.
