An Act Relative to Chapter 23 of the General Laws..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 11W of chapter 23 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 4, after the words the following, word: -

“$35”

SECTION 2. Section 11W of said Chapter 23, as so appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by striking out the third sentence

SECTION 3 Section 11W of  said Chapter 23, as so appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by inserting after the second sentence, the following 3 sentences:

 “The apprentice identification card shall expire 1 year from its date of issue.  The apprentice shall submit an application to the division for an updated apprentice identification card.  Said application shall be accompanied by a fee of $35 paid by the apprentice or the program sponsor.”

SECTION 5. Section 11W of said Chapter 23, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting, in line 16, after the word “apprentice;” as it first instance it appears, the following words: -

“the date on which the apprentice identification card expires;”
