An Act to include renewable energy in community preservation..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Paragraph (2) of subsection (b) of section 5 of chapter 44B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 39 after the words “community housing;” the following:- for the acquisition, purchase, installation, and maintenance of alternative or renewable energy generation projects on municipally-owned land;
