An Act to Increase the Local Excise Tax for Lodging ..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Section 3A of Chapter 64G of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 5 by striking out the words “four per cent” and inserting in place thereof the following : “five per cent”.

SECTION 2.   Section 3A of Chapter 64G of the General Laws is hereby amended in line 10 by striking out the number and words “4.5 per cent” and inserting in place thereof the following: “five and one-half per cent.”
