An Act eliminating certain paid holidays..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1: Clause 18 of section 7 of chapter 4 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the following:-  “Legal holiday' shall also include, with respect to Suffolk county only, March seventeenth and June seventeenth, or the day following when said days occur on Sunday; provided, however, that the words "legal holiday'' as used in section forty-five of chapter one hundred and forty-nine shall not include March seventeenth, or the day following when said day occurs on Sunday.”
