SECTION 1. The Executive Office of Consumer Protection and Business Regulation shall study, in conjunction with the Division of Consumer Protection in the Office of the Attorney General, the mis-marking and the mis-pricing of products in retail stores in the Commonwealth.
Said study shall consider, without limitation, the impact of said mis-marked and mis-priced items on consumers and retail stores.
Said study shall make the appropriate recommendations for corrective action.
Results of said study shall be filed with the clerks of the senate and house of representatives and joint committee on consumer protection and professional licensure by December 31, 2007.
