An Act exempting the position of deputy chief of police in the city of Somerville from the provisions of civil service law..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.The position of deputy chief of police in the city of Somerville shall be exempt from the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.

SECTION 2.This Act will take effect upon passage.
