An Act relative to designating a playground at the Marine Park in South Boston as the Michael Joyce Memorial Playground..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The playground located at the southernmost part of Marine park on William J. Day Boulevard in the South Boston section of the city of Boston, under the care and control of the department of conservation and recreation, shall be designated and known as the Michael Joyce memorial playground, in memory of Michael Joyce, who provided more than 20 years of distinguished public service at the State House.   The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
