An Act Relative to a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math Internship Pilot Program ..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   The Treasurer of the Commonwealth is hereby directed to create an internship program to be funded by the Commonwealth Covenant Fund. The internship program shall be conducted through the Academy of Math & Science at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and shall identify elite high school students and place them in companies conducting business in the emerging life sciences sector. The program shall draw students from every county within the Commonwealth.
