An Act Relative to Increasing Access to Primary Care Physicians for MassHealth Patients..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 16 of chapter 6A of the general laws, as appearing in the 2006 official edition, is hereby amended by inserting, at the end thereof, the following:-

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the executive office of health and human services may promulgate regulations allowing any primary care physician participating in the MassHealth program to limit the number of MassHealth patients in his or her practice in accordance with standards or procedures to be established by the executive office of health and human services.
