SECTION 1. Chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended by placing after Section 26G the following section:- Section 26H. In any city or town which accepts the provisions of this section, the board of health or other licensing authority of such city or town shall promulgate rules and regulations, subject to the approval of the Office of Emergency Medical Services in the Department of Public Health, requiring the placement of Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) in proper locations within private business open to the public. Such regulations may detail the type of business required to provide access to the placement of Automatic External Defibrillators.
