An Act relative to the sale of alcohol on legal holidays.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of section 33 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, as amended by section 202 of chapter 131 of the acts of 2010, is hereby further amended by striking out the third sentence.
SECTION 2. Subsection (a) of section 33 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, as amended by section 202 of chapter 131 of the acts of 2010, is hereby further amended by striking out, in the fourth sentence the following words: - “no licensee under section 15 shall sell or deliver any alcoholic beverages on the last Monday in May, Thanksgiving day or Christmas day or on the day following when Christmas day occurs on a Sunday”.
