An Act allowing renewal of real estate broker and salespersons licenses..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The fourth paragraph of section 87XX1/2 of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the word “licensed” in line 40, the following words:-

nor to a person who was not an attorney at the time of original license issuance but who has subsequently become an attorney

SECTION 2.  The fifth paragraph of said section 87XX1/2, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting, after the fifth sentence, the following sentence:-

            There shall be no obligation to pay any fees, other than an application fee for reactivation, during any period of inactivity.
