An act relative to the Mandating Elementary School Counselors.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 38 of Chapter 71 appearing in the 2008 official edition is hereby amended by inserting after the last paragraph the following paragraph: -
In all public elementary schools there shall be employed a certified school guidance counselor as provided in 603 CMR 711 - Regulations for Educator Licensure and Preparation Program Approval.
