In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An Act relative to school choice funding for vocational technical programs.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to increase access to vocational technical programs, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Subsection (f) of Section 12B of Chapter 76 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words, “but not more than five thousand dollars” in line 92, the following words:-
and not more than ten thousand dollars for each student enrolled in an approved vocational-technical program as defined in Chapter 74
